Name: Lukov Richter
Race: Inhuman
Age: Eternally 40
Sex: Male
Nicknames: The Angel of Death, Death, The Grim Reaper
Bio: Lukov Richter was a happy man. He had a loving family, was surrounded by friends and admirers, and was extremely wealthy. However, it was not meant to last. One day, one of his friends showed him the wonders of alcohol. In a matter of days, he was spending his whole life at the bottle. He drove his own family out of the house, scared away all his friends and admirers, and wasted away all of his riches, all for alcohol. It didn't take him long to realize he had screwed up. So, he gave up drinking and searched for his family to try to apologize and make up for what he had done. When he finally found them, he discovered that his youngest daughter Mary had contracted a deadly disease. He immediately set out to find someone who could cure her. It didn't take him long. He soon came across a man in black robes who offered him a deal. The man would cure Lukov's daughter, and, in return, Lukov would work for him for all of eternity. Lukov asked him what kind of work he would be doing. The man told him he'd be welcoming people to a better life. Lukov figured he owed a little charity to society anyway. So, he signed on the dotted line. The man told him that his daughter would be "right as rain" by the next morning. All they had left to do was shake hands and it was a done deal. Lukov gripped the man's hand, but pulled back almost immediately. Something has stung his hand. He looked a it, nothing was stuck in it, but there was definitely something wrong with it. It was turning pale and shrivelling up. Soon, it was nothing but bone. This effect ran gradually faster up his arm across his torso to his other arm. It ran down his body too. Soon, he was nothing but a skeleton. That couldn't be possible, though, because he could still see. He could still hear. He could still feel. He felt two extra limbs growing from his spinal column. He heard a tearing sound coming from his back. He looked over his shoulder to see that two black, skeletal wings had torn through his shirt. His clothes transformed into a black robe. He could feel the robes cover his wings. A hood rose over his head and lowered just over his eye sockets. He could still see, but he doubted anyone could see the upper half of his skull. Then, the final piece, the scythe, appeared in his left hand. The man in the robes said, "You work for me now. You are the Angel of Death. You will welcome dying souls into the afterlife. If you hold your end of the bargain, then I will keep your daughter fit and healthy." "And if I don't?" Lukov snarled. The man in the robes smiled. "If you don't then your daughter will die immediately. Your wife will blame you, and you will be hated for the rest of your miserable life." Lukov unwillingly did his master's bidding from then on, ferrying souls into the next life whether they wanted to or not.
Appearance: If you don't know what the Angel of Death looks like, then you've lied a sheltered life. He is a skeleton wearing a black hooded robe and carrying a large scythe. This paricular incarnation of the Grim Reaper has a crescent moon carved into the left cheek bone.
Height: 6'11"
Weight: 123 lbs.
Powers: The Reap - This is a professional ability. He is able to drag a soul into the afterlife. The soul must be ready, even if the person is not.
The Penance Stare - Another professional ability, he is able to force any soul to experience all of the pain and suffering that that soul has caused any others. This is a commonly known trait of the Ghost Riders, but it can be performed by the Angel of Death as well.
